To be fair, she was pretty good in The Hot Spot.

Don Johnson's acting makes Dakota Johnson look like an Oscar winner.

Well, it's *got* to be better than Zardoz... right? Please tell me it's better.

Hmmm... that's a tough call. Upon review I'm gonna say yes, if only because there's MUCH less Sean in a diaper here.

Respectfully disagree. Zardoz is a bizarre but entrancing psychosexualdelic 70's romp. Highlander 2 is just a crappy movie.

But admittedly I'm partial to the diaper.

After writing my Zardoz review last year, I discovered--somewhat to my surprise--that the diaper has its fans.

It's the ammo straps that make it.

Going to have to respectfully disagree with you on that one. Zardoz is absolutely god-awful, BUT… there was enough of a story there for it to be remade, minus the diaper, as The Book of Eli. Highlander 2 is so bad it breaks the space-time continuum and ruins the original movie. It’s a wonder they didn’t replace Queen on the soundtrack with Slade.

<<The Book of Eli>>

Not exactly a ringing endorsement.

This is the second time Book of Eli has been brought up in the comments. I'm gonna have to watch this thing, aren't I?

No review will ever do it the justice of watching this movie in the Odeon Cinema on Lothian Road, Edinburgh in 1991, watching it with slack jawed amazement, popcorn forgotten and wondering

WTF.

I don't remember it going this way at all. Maybe I blocked it out.
