I think you should have renamed Michelle Pfeiffer “Not Meg Ryan” for the purpose of this film review. It sounds like an absolute rerun of “When Harry Met Sally,” only with things coming apart.

That's true, although when it comes to alleged romantic comedies, I think of Katherine Heigl as "Not Meg Ryan". Or even the "Anti-Meg Ryan", since Heigl basically seized control of the Romanic Comedy Complex in the 90s and eventually dragged the whole genre down with her.

I didn’t say she was hit by the movie’s tractor-trailer! (Which, for the record, was a Kenworth)

Question: Did Red Buttons ever get his dinner?

I'd hate to think he went to the Pearlies without at least a nosh.

Nope, no dinner. Hell, they didn’t even pay him his meal penalties!

You know, I never saw this. I was afraid it was probably far too complicated for me. Clearly, I was right.

So glad to read this. Too many bad movie blogs focus solely on Sci-Fi, horror and action films. Romantic Comedies can be atrocious too!

I guess putting Pfeiffer and Willis together as a couple seemed like genius casting at the time, but in retrospect seems really bizarre, kinda like making a movie with John Travolta and Lily Tomlin as romantic leads. Oh, wait...

Ah, Moment By Moment. Ugh. I’ve been trying to summon up the courage to rewatch that thing (I saw it in the theater. UGH) and write about it for YEARS, but so far, each time I get close to pressing Play, my survival instinct kicks in.
